This site exists because outfitting a working pickup is harder than it should be. Search for a tool box and you get a food blog's twelve-item list with no prices and no idea whether any of it fits your bed. Nobody tells you the box is two inches too wide for your wheel wells until it is sitting in your driveway.
So Toolbox & Truck does the part everyone else skips: what actually fits which truck, what it costs today, and what breaks first. Picks are made for the contractor, tradesman or rural owner who needs gear that survives Monday — not for the spec-sheet collector.
What we will always tell you: where a recommendation comes from. Some gear we have had our hands on. Some we assess from manufacturer specifications and verified owner reports. Every page says which, because a review that will not tell you how it was made is not worth reading. See our methodology.
What this site covers
Everything that goes on a working pickup to make it work better, organized on two axes because that is how the decision actually runs.
- By product category: tool boxes, bed storage, covers and liners, racks, seat covers and cab storage and floor liners.
- By truck: real bed dimensions and fitment for the F-150, Silverado 1500, Ram 1500 and Tacoma. This is the layer nobody else publishes and it is the reason the site exists.
Who it is written for
A contractor, tradesman or rural owner outfitting a working pickup, who wants gear that fits their exact truck and survives daily jobsite abuse. He is reading on a phone, probably in a truck, probably between jobs. He has a budget and a reason, and he can tell when he is being sold to.
Which is why the verdict goes in the first paragraph, every pick gets an honest “who should not buy this”, and we would rather say “not published” than print a figure we cannot stand behind.
How this site is funded
